The same as normal, tasty Swaledale but this one saves on a journey to the pub because they’ve added Old Peculiar traditional ale to the curd which creates a fantastically unique taste.   What’s it taste like? Mild and smooth with a slight tang. Swaledale is creamy in colour with a soft moist open texture.This version has had Old Peculiar Ale added to the curd to give a distinct look and taste. Where’s it from? Made by David and Mandy Reed of the Swaledale Cheese company in Richmond, North Yorkshire. Swaledale Old Peculiar comes as a 220g whole cheese in a truckle. Suitable for vegetarians.
